Hawk Uranium reports it is opting out of a joint venture agreement with Noront Resources in the McFaulds Lake exploration camp in the James Bay Lowlands.
A final report based provided by Noront on airborne geophysics on the claims resulted in Hawk terminating their interest in the project.
In a Feb. 25 releases, Hawk said the results from samples obtained from a "weakly-conductive drill target" were "found not to warrant further investigation."
Noront recommends no follow-up exploration work.
