Treasury Metals continues to find high grade gold on its Goliath property in northwestern Ontario.
The Toronto junior miner reported some significant drill results, the best being one hole yielding 4.2 metres at 13.1 grams per tonne. The results, released Oct. 26, are the last intercepts from the company’s
50,000 metre program which commenced last December.
Treasury president and CEO Martin Walter said the company has consistently found high grade gold through the year that “continues at depth and remains open in all directions.”  A much larger drill
program is being planned for 2012.
The Goliath Gold project, which includes the Thunder Lake gold deposit, is 20 kilometres east of Dryden and two kilometres north of the Trans-Canada Highway.  The deposit is currently at the preliminary
economic assessment stage of mine development.
