With an eye on advancing its magnesite-talc project near Timmins, the Toronto-based Globex Mining Enterprises has retained KPMG Corporate Finance as its exclusive financial advisor.

This will also allow the joint venture between Globex and the North Carolina-based Drinkard Metalox to seek either a senior partner or financing for the planning, development and construction of a facility to produce magnesium compounds and talc.

In a release, Globex states that KPMG Corporate Finance has already informed them that they "have already held preliminary discussions with KPMG contacts in China, Europe and the United States who have expressed strong interest in particular in magnesium and talc properties."

A definition drilling program has already begun on the property.
