The Fort Frances Chamber of Commerce saluted its best and brightest at the 13th annual Rainy River District Business Awards at La Place Rendez-Vous, Nov.8.
Two Business of the Year awards went to M.L. Caron Electric Ltd. (1-15 employees) and Canadian Tire (16 plus employees).
Beef farmers Pat and Kim Cornell of Cornell Farms won in the Entrepreneur of the Year category.
Deb Cornell of Rainy River Elk Company was selected as Woman Entrepreneur of the Year.
Ed Kaun & Sons Ltd. were recognized as the Small Business Trainer of the Year.
The Customer Service Award went to Debbie Hallikas of Domino's and Edwin Bruyere of Fort Frances Clinic Dispensary was named Employee of the Year.
