Applications are now being accepted from Northern mining supply and service companies for the second intake of the Strategic One-on-One Export Marketing Development program.
Administered through the Ministry of Northern Development, Mines and Forestry, the program gives companies an opportunity to work with an international export development advisor for up to four months to develop tools and strategies to help diversify and expand their client base outside of Northern Ontario.
Through the program, companies will learn to develop a corporate strategy, select and use effective marketing tools for export, and develop and implement an international marketing plan.
Eight Northern companies are currently completing their work as part of the first intake of the program.
