Exploration company goes big time

The Far North has been good to KWG Resources (TSX-Venture:KWG). The Montreal-based exploration company is making the jump up to Tier 1 status, effective May 26.

The Far North has been good to KWG Resources (TSX-Venture:KWG).

The Montreal-based exploration company is making the jump up to Tier 1 status, effective May 26.

The company is in the midst of the exploration frenzy in the so-named 'Ring of Fire' in the James Bay Lowlands where companies are finding making significant discoveries of nickel and chrome.

KWG has a joint venture with Spider Resources in a large claim block in the central part of the main discovery area. Their Big Daddy chromite deposit is next to the Black Thor and Black Label chromite discoveries of Freewest Resources Canada.
