Explorers Alliance Corp. has begun detailed evaluations on a new zinc zone near Timmins. Located in the former Genex Mine, 18 kilometres northwest of the city, the evaluation focuses on locating a near-surface pit resource containing copper, zinc, silver and gold. The property is part of a larger group of properties subject to a 50/50 option and joint venture agreement between Explorers and Falconbridge Ltd, which had previously optioned the property surrounding the old copper mine.
