The Town of Englehart is receiving $315,000 from the province to provide municipal water and sewage services to a future commercial and industrial park site near Highway 11.

The money from the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund is earmarked toward the cost of completing engineering and designs necessary to the installation of the municipal services.

"By investing in the development of the industrial park we are helping the Town of Englehart attract new businesses and jobs to the community," said Timiskaming-Cochrane MPP David Ramsay in a Sept. 26 statement.

The northeastern Ontario community of 1,500 is located near the municipality of Temiskaming Shores.
