The discovery of new mineralized boulders by RJK Explorations and Greater Lenora Resources Corp. on its property west of Thunder Bay has given the partners new optimism that there is a good chance of finding the mother lode.

Assay results from one of the mineralized boulders has shown grades of 0.64 per cent zinc, 0.16 per cent copper, 388 grams of silver per tonne of rock and 15.9 grams of gold per tonne of rock.

In a press release detailing the findings, company officials described the discovery as highly significant.

The recent discovery paints a brighter picture for the company's exploration project taking place about 50 kilometres west of Thunder Bay.

Earlier this year, RJK Explorations announced that exploration work, including a 2,130-metre diamond-drilling project conducted last winter, had not been successful in producing an ore-grade intersection of the source of two large mineralized boulders found in Sackville Township last summer.

Discovered by a local prospector, the boulders showed excellent mineralization of copper, zinc, gold and silver.
