Delta Hotels and Resorts will assume management of the Waterfront Inn & Conference Centre in Sault Ste. Marie after renovations of the hotel are complete.
Delta is spending more than $6 million to upgrade all guest rooms and amenities, including meeting space, the fitness centre, as well as all food and beverage outlets.
The Delta Sault Ste. Marie is owned by Algoma Central Properties Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Algoma Central Corporation, but the hotel will be fully branded and managed by Delta Hotels and Resorts.

The hotel will open as the Delta Sault Ste. Marie Waterfront Hotel in early 2010.
