The flow of traffic across the international bridge in Fort Frances dropped slightly this spring compared to last year.
Officials with Canada Customs and Revenue Agency say the volume of travellers crossing the bridge is down by about 12 per cent.
To date, 17,732 travellers have crossed the border, including 13,969 United States travellers and 3,763 Canadians.
June is traditionally the busiest time of year for tourists and the peak is usually the second or third weekend of the month. Cars are lined up at the border, during peak times, waiting to cross.
