Canadore College puts up its finest for Premier's Awards

The president of Sikorsky Global Helicopters is a nominee for the 2010 Premier's Awards for outstanding college graduates. 

Canadore College in North Bay released four names for the Nov. 22 event in Toronto including Carey Bond of Stratford, CT.. a graduate of Canadore's Aviation Techician program in maintenance and helicopter pilot training.

With 25 years experience in the industry, Bond leads Sikorwsky's $2-billion global commercial helicopter business and oversees sales, marketing and communication for all Sikorsky aircraft.

Joining him will be fellow alumnus Glenn Cundari of North Bay, a golf teaching pro and president of Canadian Professional Golf Association; Ottawa's Michael Kenney, director/principal of Xerox Global Services; and Les Molnar, CEO of Intelligent Creatures, a Toronto visual effects company.
