Six months after the City of Timmins delivered a new $3.2-million call centre to TeleTech Holdings Inc., the company has yet to deliver a client. Attributing the delay to a slowdown in the North American economy, company officials say they are in discussions with some Fortune 500 companies. Built on the corner of Second Avenue and Spruce Street South, the centre was supposed to deliver 400 jobs after TeleTech took possession of the building April 2. The company plans to update the community in the coming weeks on its progress in securing a client.
