Brigus raises cash for Timmins project

Brigus Gold has raised $8.7 million for its mine project in northeastern Ontario. In a Dec. 2 release, the Nova Scotia company announced the completion of its flow-through share financing for its exploration and development activities near Timmins.

Brigus Gold has raised $8.7 million for its mine project in northeastern Ontario.

In a Dec. 2 release, the Nova Scotia company announced the completion of its flow-through share financing for its exploration and development activities near Timmins.

The proceeds are earmarked for the company's Black Fox Complex and Stock Mine property, both located in the Township of Black River-Matheson.
