A Thunder Bay aviation software/IT company has landed a contract to supply flight display information for a North Dakota airport.

The Grand Forks Regional Airport Authority has selected iFIDS.com to provide flight information displays for its new airport terminal.

The company specializes in web-based software solutions for airports and airlines throughout North America.

The iFIDS system provides travelers with arrival and departure information. It will also be a money-maker for the airport with display advertising. Unlike the company's previous systems in place at seven Canadian airport clients and internationally in Duluth, Minn. and Nassau in the Bahamas.

The system is also a hosted service that removes the airport client from any maintenance obligations with iFIDS managing daily input from airport or airline staff.
