New results have rolled in from Armistice Resources' in-fill definition drilling program, recently completed on the 2250 Level at its McGarry Gold Project located 40 kilometres east of Kirkland Lake.
The 2250 Level represents the most developed area of the mine and was the site of a recently completed bulk sampling program.
Examples of drillhole results include 3.35 ounces per ton gold over 4.8 feet, and 0.85 ounces per ton over 2 feet.
Additional assay results are due to made available in the coming weeks, and will be included in a revised industry-compliant resource estimate. This new resource estimate, along with a scoping study, will be completed by early April.
The 484-hectare project sits next to the former producing Kerr Addison gold mine, which produced 11 million ounces of gold throughout its 58-year life.
