Sudbury is slated to talk about trees, wood supply and public forest preservation at the annual Ontario Professional Foresters Association conference announced for April 22 - 24.
With a theme of "Whose Forest is it Anyway?," the event will feature discussions on issues ranging from tenure to privatization to the future of Ontario's forests.
The event will feature keynote speaker Andrea Mandel-Campbell, award-winning author of Why Mexicans Don't Drink Molson, which highlights Canada's shortcomings in the new global economy.
Attendees are expected to include Natural Resources Minister Donna Cansfield, as well as four deputy ministers from Quebec, New Brunswick and British Columbia. Representatives from academia, forestry companies and suppliers will also be in attendance.
