Video game programming students from Algoma University are taking their talents to the West Coast for their annual conference. Future 2009 is scheduled for May 12-13 in Vancouver as part of the Games Developers Canada conference.

The keynote speaker is Ben Sawyer, co-founder of Digitalmill.
Since 2002, Algoma University's Future Play has rotated to various cities across Canada and the U.S. in providing a venue for cutting-edge researchers, game developers and theorists to share their ideas with industry experts.
