Mike Easton of the Ontario Geological Survey (OGS) is the recipient of the Provincial Geologist's Medal.
With more than 25 years of experience at OGS, Easton has devoted his career to mapping and improving the understanding of Ontario's Precambrian geology.
The award was recently presented during the annual Canadian Energy and Mines Ministers Conference in Saskatoon.
