The Dryden Development Corporation (DDC) took top honours for a specialty publication at the Ontario Economic Development Awards in Toronto, Feb. 3.
The DDC won in the brochure/specialty/cooperative publication category for their Fostering Wood Processing Success.
The event was staged by Economic Developers Council of Ontario (EDCO).
The awards ceremony honours winners for their efforts in promoting their communities for location and tourism opportunities, that include economic development initiatives. There were 146 entries judged in this year's competition.
Vicki Kurz, the DDC's economic development manager accepted the award.
“With the number of entrants across Ontario; it truly is a testament to how far the Economic Development Office has come in a very short period of time,” said Ernie Remillard, DDC chairman in a statement.
