Business owners on the North Shore of Lake Huron are invited to attend a workshop to learn how social media can enhance their businesses.

The workshop will be held Nov. 16 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the rec centre in Espanola. The event is being hosted by the Town of Espanola, the LaCLoche-Manitoulin Business Assistance Corp. and the LaCloche Foothills Chamber of Commerce.

The goal of the seminar will be to educate and enlighten the business community about the power of social media and how to harness a tangible return on investment. They will receive guidance about implementation and best practices and take home a workbook that they can use to facilitate their own social media campaign.

The Sudbury-based communications firm Bureau Group will facilitate the workshop.
