Sudbury’s Young Professionals Association (YPA) is accepting nominations for its 2012 awards.

The organization annually recognizes young professionals and business in three categories: female young professional of the year, male young professional of the year, and best place to work for young professionals.

Now in its fifth year, the YPA Awards recognize individuals and organizations with a demonstrated commitment to the growth and well-being of their community. Winners will be announced at a gala being held at the Art Gallery of Sudbury on Nov. 15 at 7 p.m.

Anyone can nominate an individual between the ages of 20 and 40, or a workplace, they feel deserves to be recognized for their leadership, hard work, community involvement and enthusiasm for our city. Nominated individuals do not have to be YPA members and self-nominations are welcome.

The nomination deadline is Nov. 2 at 4:30 p.m.
