Influential Women of Northern Ontario Awards
The Influential Women of Northern Ontario Awards is designed to seek out, profile and honour women in Northern Ontario who have contributed to economic wealth, job creation and growth in Ontario's northern region.
Each year, we honour Influential Women at two awards luncheons. A special souvenir magazine is produced in honour of these women, featuring each winner's unique story of success.
40 Under Forty
Celebrating the rich array of talent in our market by recognizing 40 leaders under the age of forty, nominations are open to all public and private sector young leaders under the age of 40, residing in the Sudbury and Manitoulin regions.
Emerging Leaders
Emerging Leaders is a conference and tradeshow that coincides with the 40 Under Forty awards. This half-day event presents the opportunity to be inspired by a high-profile keynote speaker and network with local businesses and business leaders.
Community Builders Awards of Excellence
Our mission is to discover and honour the residents of Greater Sudbury who inspire the rest of us to reach our potential. We believe it is the essence and the power of our community!
Northern Life has chronicled and championed the growth and prosperity of our community for more than 30 years. The vision, creativity, spirit and hard work of many individuals, businesses, groups and organizations ignited this mission. We are proud to host the Community Builders Awards of Excellence to recognize these incredible community builders. The Community Builders Awards of Excellence program consists of a call for nominations and judging process, an Awards Gala Dinner, a special magazine-format souvenir program, a year-round website and video/TV broadcast of the gala featuring winner profiles.
