Timmins businesses celebrated at Nova Awards

Excellence in business was celebrated at the 2015 Nova Business Excellence Awards, hosted by the Timmins Chamber of Commerce .

Excellence in business was celebrated at the 2015 Nova Business Excellence Awards, hosted by the Timmins Chamber of Commerce.

“If you look at all the business achievements highlighted by tonight’s awards, it’s easy to be impressed by the talent we have right here in Timmins,” Chamber president Al Thorne said in a news release. “Our entrepreneurs really are in a class all their own, and the Nova Awards are an important showcase for all that they do.”

Young Entrepreneur (under 35): Alicia Pirie, owner, Chic Baby Boulevard

New Business (under two years): Urban Windows and Doors

Business Contribution to the Community (1-30 employees): Christopher’s Coffee House

Business Contribution to the Community (31+ employees): Tim Hortons
