Temple Hotels announced it is acquiring two hotel properties in Thunder Bay, the Days Inn North and Day Inn & Suites, for $26.5 million.
The 92-guestroom Days Inn North, which opened in 2007, is located on Golf Links Road. The 92-room Days Inn & Suites, which opened in 2002, is located on Sibley Drive. Both properties are close to the airport, Thunder Bay Regional Sciences Centre, Confederation College, Lakehead University and the downtown area.
Temple is a Winnipeg-based real estate investment company listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
The acquisitions are scheduled to close July 1.
