Michael Coffey is the new chief financial officer for Tbaytel.
A Thunder Bay resident, he’ll handle the company’s financial and accounting divisions and now fills the role previously held by president and CEO Dan Topatigh.
“Michael’s demonstrated ability to lead a number of companies through periods of organizational expansion and financial growth has already proven to be an asset in the initial weeks since he joined Tbaytel’s executive team,” said Topatigh in a Feb. 10 statement. “He has extensive experience at the senior management level across a variety of industries and I look forward to working with Michael to continue delivering on Tbaytel’s commitment to provide our customers with the very best in telecommunication solutions.”
Before joining Tbaytel, Coffey was the controller for GRK Fasteners n Thunder Bay, now a division of ITW Canada and previously worked for the DST Group, The hronicle Journal newspaper and Dieco Technologies of Brampton.
