Mining software makers, NCS Technology of Sudbury, have renamed themselves Centric Mining Systems.
They had hired Toronto-based consultants, TAXI, to overhaul everything from the website to the company name.
In a news release, the company “accelerated growth” in recent years made it “an opportune time for a brand update, reflecting the transformation they’ve undergone, and allowing for enhanced services and support to customers.”
The company specializes in data capture and data warehousing solutions.
“We'll be improving our customer service with the addition of a client portal, and a live chat feature will be used to assist visitors to our site,” said company CEO and founder, Chris Novak. “We are also diligently working on a major product update, to be released in fall 2014.”
