Chief economist to speak in Sudbury April 30

Let’s Talk Exports will take place April 30 at 11:30 a.m. at the Days Inn in Sudbury. The event is sponsored by the EDC and Northern Ontario Business. The registration deadline is April 23.

Hall’s presentation topics include the unique opportunities and risks that will be surfacing in 2013-2014; the export outlook for specific industry sectors; the provinces that will see greater opportunities; and how to succeed in the global marketplace.

Each attendee will also receive access to EDC’s sought-after Global Export Forecast, 2013 spring edition.

Peter Hall joined EDC in November, 2004. He has more than 20 years of experience in domestic and international economic analysis and forecasting. Hall is responsible for overseeing economic and political risk analysis, special research and the corporate library. In addition to advising senior management at EDC, Hall is a featured speaker at conferences across the country and internationally, and regularly appears in television, radio and print media commenting on recent economic developments and implications for the outlook.
