Provincial funding arrives for Sault companies

A handful of Sault Ste. Marie businesses are getting a hand up from the province with a total of $618,006 in capital. The funding is expected to help create 17 new jobs.

A handful of Sault Ste. Marie businesses are getting a hand up from the province with a total of $618,006 in capital. The funding is expected to help create 17 new jobs.

Insightworks Learning & Development received $213,125 to expand their business and purchase equipment to further develop the design of computer software for web based learning and market it for health care sector.

North Drilling received $165,631 for environmental and geotechnical investigative drilling and testing services.

RBB Innovations Ltd. received $117,250 to develop a child care portal (OneHSN) to connect government programs and child care centres directly.

Village Electric Inc. received $80,000 to establish a multimedia production studio focusing on high-quality video, audio recording and other services for commercial clients.

Pearce Apiary received $24,000 to produce and sell high-quality honey and other bee products in the area.

Jardin Farms received $18,000 to assist with the cost of purchasing a greenhouse and refrigeration unit for this local market garden.
