Sault Ste. Marie is hosting the 2014 annual general meeting and convention of the Ontario Chamber of Commerce. The event takes place May 1 to 4 and will draw between 150 and 200 delegates to the city.
The event marks the organization’s key policy development event of the year. It provides the member delegates attending the conference with face-to-face networking and learning opportunities on various subject areas. In addition, it provides a forum for member delegates to debate policy resolutions that will formulate the annual advocacy strategies for the Ontario Chamber of Commerce.
The event will be one of the key activities to mark the Sault chamber’s 125th anniversary year. The event last took place in Sault Ste. Marie in 1989 during the Sault chamber’s 100th anniversary.
