Industry was well represented during the 2013 Chamber of Commerce Awards in Sault Ste. Marie.
Soo Mill Buildall, which manufactures trusses, was presented with the Business of the Year Award; Palmer Construction Group Inc. earned the Safe Work, Sound Business Award; and Flakeboard Company Ltd., which manufactures composite panel products, received the Employer of Choice Award.
This was the 124th annual general meeting and awards gala. Fifteen companies and entrepreneurs received awards during the evening, which celebrated local business excellence and the entrepreneurial spirit.
