The Sault Ste. Marie Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations for the 2013 Business Awards and the 2013 ATHENA Award.
The chamber’s annual business awards recognize businesses and entrepreneurs showing excellence in the areas of business development, customer service, young entrepreneurs, marketing, entrepreneur/business of the year, safe work/sound business, environment, employer of choice, and diversity.
The ATHENA Award goes to someone who demonstrates excellence, creativity and initiative in their business or profession; provides valuable service by contributing time and energy to improve the quality of life for others in the community; and actively assists women in realizing their full leadership potential.
The deadline for submissions is July 15.
Award recipients will be announced and presented with their awards in October during the chamber’s 124th annual general meeting and business awards dinner sponsored by Bell.
