Mining apparel entrepreneur Alicia Woods is the headliner during North Bay Mining Week festivities this week.
The founder of Covergalls, a Sudbury women’s workwear company, and sales director at MacLean Engineering will be speaking at the CIM Northern Gateway luncheon, May 5 at the Davedi Club.
“It is great to have Alicia speaking at the luncheon,” said mining week committee chair Suzanne Lafontaine in a statement. “She demonstrates the innovative spirit that the Mining Week is all about.”
Mining Week, running May 4 to 8, is back after a two-year hiatus. Activities are planned throughout the week including school activities and professional networking opportunities.
