The North Bay and District HOST organization announced that one of its member hotels, The Hampton Inn by Hilton, has been selected as one of the top 25 hotels for families in Canada through online reviews compiled by the 2014 Travelers’ Choice Tripadvisor ratings.
Tripadvisor is the world’s largest travel site with more than 125 million reviews and opinions by travelers around the world where you’ll find the best places to eat, sleep, and play, wherever you go! The top hotel recipients are divided into categories by country, specialty and size and the award winners are determined by the quantity and quality of online reviews submitted for the hotel and overall rating.
In a news release, the HOST group said: “Given the number of hotels in Canada it is truly an honour for one of our local member properties to place in the Top 25.”
Founded in 2011, HOST North Bay (Hospitality Organizations Strengthening Tourism) is a local organization consisting of North Bay accommodations partners, Canadore College Residence and Nipissing University Conference Services.
HOST works with the City of North Bay, the North Bay and District Chamber of Commerce and local groups to develop and promote events that will increase tourist visits.
