North Bay honours its best in business

Wipware, a mining high-tech company, was one of seven businesses and organizations recognized by the North Bay & District Chamber of Commerce at their annual awards gala, Oct. 21.

The mining high-tech company won the Innovation Award in front of more than 200 people at the Best Western.

Bavarian Link Meat Products, a family-owned European deli meat producer and retailer, won in the Success Story award category.

Stantec won the Business of the Year Award for more than 16 employees and Lucky 13 convenience store won in the Small Business category.

Darren Patey was named Young Professional of the Year while Tranquility Spa was took home the New Business of the Year award. The Rotary Club of North Bay was named the Not-for-Profit of the Year.
