The Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation (NOHFC) is launching a new suite of programs.
The five enhanced programs include: the Strategic Economic Infrastructure Program, the Northern Community Capacity Building Program, the Northern Innovation Program, the Northern Business Opportunity Program and the Northern Ontario Internship Program.
Northern development and mines minister Michael Gravelle said NOHFC has been proven to be a “tremendous tool” for stimulating the economy and creating jobs.
“We're leading a strong future powered by this $100 million economic development fund. By aligning our programs with key growth sectors outlined in the Growth Plan for Northern Ontario, we can maximize opportunities for economic growth and prosperity...”
The corporation is accepting application under this programming starting Oct. 21.
