The Kirkland Lake-based explosives manufacturer announced it has reached a supply agreement with a new customer, Technica Mining, which is contracted to develop the Sugar Zone property for Harte Gold.

The property is located 60 kilometres east of the Hemlo Gold Camp and 25 kilometres north of White River, just off the Trans-Canada Highway.

Technica Mining was founded in 1999 and is a premier underground contractor having completed work in the Sudbury Basin and other locations including Winnemucca, Nevada; Timmins, Wawa and Sault St. Marie.

"We are pleased to have reached an agreement with Technica Mining and look forward to providing our explosive products and expertise to them,” said Nordex president-CEO Jim Taylor in a statement. “This new account is an important step in growing our business through new relationships and provides increased exposure of our products to new user groups. Each new relationship for Nordex increases the number of prospective customers for our environmentally sensitive and efficient blasting solutions."
