International Montoro Resources has contracted Orbit Garant Drilling Services for an exploration program at its Pecors Anomaly base metal property near Elliot Lake.
The Vancouver junior miner’s program, which involves a minimum of 2,000 metres of drilling during the first quarter, will include a drill rig and a helicopter supplied by Heli Explore of Sudbury to transport equipment, supplies and the drill crew.
The company continues to raise project financing through a non-brokered private placement.
"These funds will strengthen our treasury and allow us to move ahead with the planned exploration and drilling program on our Pecors Anomaly - Serpent River property,” said company president-CEO Gary Musil in a Jan. 19 news release. “We are excited to test this potentially large (estimated 7.8 km by 3.45 km) nickel-copper-platinum group elements anomaly.”
The Pecors Anolmay-Serpent River property comprises 10 mineral claims (115 units) of approximately 1,840 hectares.
