Ginguro Exploration Inc. is reporting assay results from the newly discovered Godzilla Zone on the Pardo property, a joint venture project with Endurance Gold Corp. located 65 kilometres northeast of Sudbury.

A highlight includes one channel sample returning an average of 5.2 grams per tonne gold over 140 metres.

“With the work of sampling the Godzilla Zone now complete, we will shift our efforts back to the job of prospecting new areas of the Pardo JV,” commented Richard Murphy, Ginguro’s president and CEO, in a news release.

“While we will be receiving all of the Godzilla Zone assays over the next several weeks, we have approximately two months remaining in the field season to follow up on other prospective areas, as well as targets generated by the recently completed radon gas survey.  We are in a good position to continue the success we have had this summer.”

Ginguro owns 64.5 per cent of the joint venture, while Endurance Gold Corp. retains 35.5 per cent ownership. In August, Ginguro announced it had retained Renmark Financial Communications Inc. to assist with the company’s investor relations programs.
