Aboriginal Tourism Ontario (ATO) will hold its second annual Business Tourism Conference April 13 to 15 at the Quattro Hotel and Conference Centre in Sault Ste. Marie.

Under the theme Industry Growth and Future Development, this year’s conference will bring together Aboriginal tourism participants from across the province, including stakeholders, partners and associations.

It will provide networking opportunities for participants, allowing them to forge partnerships and learn from each other.

The conference will host topical plenary sessions to assist members with their businesses and tourism goals.

Formed in 2014, the ATO has a mandate to promote and grow Aboriginal tourism in Ontario to an international audience.

The organization is currently facilitated by the Great Spirit Circle Trail, based in M’Chigeeng First Nation on Manitoulin Island, but is aiming to break out as an independent body representative of Aboriginal tourism affiliates from across the province.
