Startup of two remaining machines at Abitibi-Consolidated paper mill in Kenora is slated to take place Sept. 15.

Senior management and union officials presented a startup plan to Abitibi's senior management in Montreal in late July, initially targetting a startup date of Sept. 4. Due to poor market conditions, the date was pushed to Sept. 15.
