The sale of Dryden Hydro to Hydro One is nearly complete. The Ontario Energy Board has approved the sale and it should be completed this summer. The $3.64-million deal comes with guaranteed employment and seniority for city hydro employees. The city will retain ownership of the former hydro office for use by other departments. The municipality also has an advisory role under the sales agreement.
