By: Northern Ontario Business staff

Lake Shore Gold Corp. announced Feb. 6 that Brian Buss, its vice-president of project development, is leaving the company on Feb. 15 for personal reasons.

Its Timmins project development group will report to Dan Gagnon, senior vice-president of operations.

Lake Shore president and CEO Tony Makuch thanked Buss for his contribution to the company's progress and growth.

“In particular, Brian has played a key role in the planning and execution of our 50 per cent mill expansion, which remains on track for completion to a capacity of 3,000 tonnes per day during the second quarter of 2013. We wish Brian all the best in his future endeavours."

Lake Shore Gold is advancing three, multi-million ounce, gold complexes in the Timmins Gold Camp. The company has two mines in Timmins – Timmins West and Bell Creek – and a processing mill.
