Sudbury-based Music and Film in Motion (MFM) has created a resource guide for people looking to produce music or films in Northern Ontario.
The 2012 Northern Ontario Film and Music Resource Guide is comprehensive a database listing artists, businesses, technicians and other support sector personnel currently working in the music, film and related industries in Northern Ontario.
The guide is an effort to entice producers north for their projects, fostering economic development in the North. It includes profiles on the five major Northern Ontario centres—including North Bay, Sudbury, Thunder Bay, Timmins, and Sault Ste. Marie—as well as a list of MFM members.
