Lori Paras is resigning as president of the North of Superior Tourism Association.

In a March 10 media release, the association said Paras has "worked diligently" as president to position the tourism group as a leading regional marketing body.

Paras informed the membership in December that she would not be seeking re-election as president in order to concentrate on her newly expanding business.

Since elections were not held at that time, she stayed on in an interim position.
